We inaugurated the 'Fluttering'
We recently unveiled the newest jewel of Villa11: the sculpture 'Libbenés' by Pál Breznay. In a cosy summer evening, art historian Gergely Barki paid tribute to the artist and his work, followed by a pleasant surprise: opera singer Szabina Schnöller, who was a guest at the event, sang Juliet's aria from Gounod's opera 'Romeo and Juliet', inspired by the moment.
Libbenés was the result of several separate miracles: a trip to Italy, a small pond in our garden, our long-standing friendship with the artist, our commitment to beauty and our belief in the need to experience the beauty of creation and the enchantment of beauty. The movement of fluttering has everything we all long for: freedom, lightness, happiness, and the experience of the moment - as ballet artist Zsófia Laura Tasi, the artist's model, captured in a moment during the sculpture's unveiling. Pál Breznay's work reminds us every day that the creative power of thought really works. Thank you to all those who celebrated with us, and please note that Pál Breznay's painting exhibition 'Summer Lights' is still on view at the Villa11 Salon.
