HUNGARIAN

In 1980, he graduated from the Budapest School of Fine and Applied Arts in the field of jewellery.

In 1981, he continued his studies in painting and mosaics at the Accademia di Belle Arti (Academy of Fine Arts) in Ravenna, graduating in 1985, when he won the 1st prize for young painters, the "Luca Zacagnini" gold medal, at the Marina di Ravenna Prize.

In 1986 he moves to Paris and is accepted at the École Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts.

In 1991, as a pupil of Leonardo Cremonini, he obtained his second degree in painting. In the same year, he had his first solo exhibition in Paris. The subjects of his paintings are then mainly interiors, where the different reflections of sunlight, geometric or hieroglyphic forms are the essence of the composition. He later opened his own studio in Paris.

In 1994, he visits his childhood swimming pool (the Lukács Baths), where his childhood memories are revived and a series of decades-long stories of bathing life begins, which later extends to other baths, bathing sites, lakes, rivers, seas and natural waterways on his scenic exploration routes.

In 2003, he was awarded the 1st prize for painting "Horse in Art" at the annual art salon "Horse in Art" in Saumur, the stronghold of the French riding school in France, for his painting "Avant la montée" (Before the Ride). He paints his equestrian paintings in the Honvéd riding school in Budapest and at the Société d'Equitation de Paris, capturing his riding experiences. At Kincsem Park in Budapest, he begins to explore the theme of horse racing through his larger scale paintings. He opens a studio in Budapest.

As a travelling artist, he returns to the places of his childhood, having captured thousands of landscapes of the world on canvas with the novelty of discovery. He paints his pictures in Hungary, France, Turkey, Greece, Italy, USA, China, mostly after nature. His paintings have been exhibited in the Netherlands, Germany, Slovakia, Romania, Poland, Austria and other countries.

In addition to his paintings, he also makes sculptures and large mosaics based on his designs.
